La Chouette is set in nearly 7000m² of south facing sloping grounds. Sit and relax here, laze in the sun and listen to the birdsong. If you’re up early, and lucky, you may see a deer in the valley below.

We have garden furniture, sun umbrellas, and shady trees, not to mention the appenti so you have no excuse not to chill out!

In 2009 we built a pergola and planted kiwis and clematis to make a cool place to sit and relax. A great tit has nested in the flower pot covering one of the clematis roots so it’s obviously a good place to be!

Relax here with a glass of wine and enjoy the view across the valley to the stream below or the forest opposite.

At the bottom of our garden we have a pond where you can fish, creep up on our noisy frogs or simply watch the damsel flies flitting across the water.

If you have small children, please be aware that this is a deep pond with no fence surrounding it.

We have off-road parking for cars and hard standing for motor bikes. If you bring your own cycle you may store it under cover in our barn.
